Art at Peace Church
Worship happens in many forms and often outside of the church service. Expression of and connection to the divine and other people is an important value of writing, visual art, and creative endeavors of all kinds.

Visio Divina
Visio divina invites the viewer into “divine seeing.” Some think of it as “seeing with the heart.” An ancient form of prayer, visio divina shares roots with the ancient practice of lectio divina. Lectio divina calls for a slow, careful interaction with scripture through meditation and prayer, allowing a word or phrase to rise in one’s consciousness, a holy word to be savored and examined. Visio divina invites one to encounter the divine similarly, but through images.
Artists Corner
In living out its vision, Peace Church also strives to provide a space for artists to share their creativity. Whether through painting, song, photography or poetry, the art of the Peace Church community is an important thread of our tapestry.
The Artist Corner will be a place to both promote and celebrate some of the artistic efforts that take place at Peace Church.
