Service Recording: May 17, 2020
After the service, we will have Fellowship Time in a Zoom video conference. Details for joining will be shared via email and at the end of the live stream.
The Building is Closed and the Church is Open
While we have restricted access to the building, Peace Church is very much open to ministry—working to respond to our own congregation, as well as the needs of our neighbors and community. Please consider giving either to Peace Church general fund or the Gabriel Fund – which is used to meet the needs in the community.
We recognize that in this time, people’s financial situations may have changed. We ask you to prayerfully consider what you can give. If you use electronic giving, we thank you for your constancy of support. If you would like to give through our online form, we would be grateful. For all the contributions from our members and friends—whether financial, time, or prayer—we ask God’s blessings on those gifts that Peace Church may be healing balm in this time when we are living in our own Gilead.

God is Revealed as We Gather
*Responsive Call to Worship
We long for community and the Presence of God
In whom we live and move and have our being
Jesus tells us that we will never be alone. The Advocate, the Spirit of truth will share our journey.
With the Spirit we will live and create community and celebrate being.
May we know the presence of God as we gather now
May God’s truth lead us on this path of discipleship with deeds of bold mercy and courageous justice.
Opening Hymn “Love Divine, All Loves Excelling” (#43)
Unison Prayer of Confession
Holy Advocate, we often forget that you know us at our very depth. We become anxious and afraid that you are not with us, in these days of isolation and worry. Yet even now you call us to the work of imagination, generosity and patience, which are possible when we remember Whose we are. By your mercy, help us to live out your call to love one another . Amen.
