God is Revealed as We Gather
*Responsive Call to Worship
We come to this place
because we want to know God,
who helps us set aside the past,
to walk the path to new life.
We come in these moments
because we want to know Jesus,
who anoints us with the resurrection,
who shares our lives with us.
We come with these people
because we want to know the Spirit,
who shapes us for life with God,
so we may praise God forever!
*Opening Hymn “God is Here!” (#70)
Unison Prayer of Confession
God of grace, we grow comfortable with the way things are: in our lives, in the church, and in the world. We do not always welcome the new life you offer in Christ, for your ways are not our own. Sure of our own righteousness, we are critical of others. Wanting to control our assets, we hoard the gifts you give us. Forgive us, we pray, for seeking our gain at the expense of others. Help us to bend our life toward your way of self-giving. Fill us, our homes, our churches, and the whole world with the abundant love of Christ until all creation is made new. Amen.

*Unison Prayer of Dedication
Abundant God, Your generosity astounds and humbles us.
We come before you in awe, asking you to receive what we have brought in gratitude. May these gifts be a pleasing and fragrant offering, for the sake of the world you came to save. We pray in your holy name. Amen.
Celebration of Communion
Our vision is to be an accessible, open and affirming community growing in Christian faith, committed to peace and justice, and reaching out in healing love to all of creation, including all people, respecting and valuing the diversity of people’s sexual orientation, race, culture, gender identity, age, opinions, and physical and mental abilities.

Unison Prayer After Communion
God, through the gift of this meal, you have gathered our spirits and nourished us with bread and cup, with song and story. Send us into the world to pour out your love for others. May we walk in your way and grow in your grace. Amen.
