We will meet on May16th at 3:00. Please email email@example.com if you would like to be included in the discussion.
Thursday Morning Book Club
Thursday, May 19, 10:00am
in the Fireside Room
The Third Thursday Morning Group Book will meet on May 19, 2022 from 10:00 to noon in the church library. The book we will discuss is The Flower Boat Girl by Larry Feign.
This well-researched book is another of recent books about notable women that mainstream history has excluded and belongs in this new Herstory genre. In this rollicking sea story readers will learn how a Chinese peasant girl became the most famous pirate in the19th century. All are welcome to join us in this discussion of a woman of an earlier century and culture who shares many of the same concerns as contemporary women regarding marriage, careers and children.
The group will not meet during the summer. For further information contact Alice Marks at firstname.lastname@example.org
