Forums provide opportunities each Sunday morning to connect as members of Peace. We learn together, share our reflections, ask questions, and create community. Join in any Sunday morning at 9:30am.

May 1—The Twin Ports APIDA Collective. May is Asian American History month, and our Forum on May 1 will be a presentation by Pakou Ly, Julie Kim and Jennifer Lien, founders of TPAC, a collective of Asian Pacific Islander Desi Americans begun in 2021. The mission of the collective is “to build solidarity among us, awareness in the community around us, and equity for all of us.”

May 8—The Twin Ports APIDA Collective: Like Me, Like You”. Learn more about the art featured in a recent exhibit “Like Me, Like You”, by TPAC member, Julia Cheng, who is an artist and photographer.

May 15—Connect and Re-connect:  Life at Peace Church. Learn more about small groups, committees and volunteer ministries that make up much of our life at Peace. Interested in helping pack breakfasts for CHUM? Looking to connect socially with PALS?  Want to know more about Wednesday night Bible study? Looking for a place to work on issues like climate change? Hoping for support as you or a loved one face a cancer diagnosis? There’s a lot that goes on at Peace. Roam through the Fellowship Hall and find out more about opportunities to be part of our life at Peace Church.

May 22—Breakfast with our Confirmands. Help honor and welcome confirmands into Peace Church.  Students have been preparing for this important rite which is a re-affirmation of promises made at their baptisms. The congregation is invited to eat with them and their families and mentors at 9:30am.

May 29—The Spirituality of Bob Dylan. As Duluth’s Bob Dylan Festival draws to a close, Pastor Jim Mitulski will present a Forum on the spirituality of this poet/songwriter. Come be part of the fun (and maybe we’ll even sing a song or two.)
