*Responsive Call to Worship
How wonderful it is to be a dwelling place for God!
The refreshing springs of God’s love clean and restore us.
There is a place for everyone. No one is turned away from here.
The least and the lost, the faithful and the doubtful are always welcomed and loved by God.
Praise to God who invites and shelters us all.
Praise to God who heals and sends us forth to serve.
*Opening Hymn “How Lovely is Your Dwelling” (#600)
Unison Prayer of Confession
Most merciful God, we have sinned against you in thought, word and deed, by what we have done and by what we have left undone. We have not loved you with our whole heart. We have not loved our neighbors as ourselves. Have mercy on us. Forgive us, renew us and lead us, so that we may delight in your will and follow in your way. Amen.
