Sunday, May 3 – Fifth Sunday of Easter
This morning we will welcome new members into our congregation and celebrate the baptisms of Mason Lundberg at 8:30 and Andrew Flottum at 10:30.
A delegation from Mayflower Church’s Global Justice Advocacy Team will do a Readers Theater on Guatemala: “Portraits of Resilience—in Resistance to Injustice” for our sermon time. Special music will be provided by our worship team and choir.

Sunday, May 10 – Confirmation Sunday at 10:30
Pastor Kathy will preach at 8:30 using Acts 10: 44 – 48 and John 15: 9 – 17 as her texts. There will be communion at this service.
Our Confirmands will lead our service at 10:30 and the sermon will include excerpts of their statements of belief. This year’s class members are: Andrew Green, Andrea Brown, Isaac Wilkowske, Ian Anderson, Wyatt Carlson, Sylvie Deters, Ellie Pearson and Grant Montgomery. This Sunday we will also recognize our Sunday School teachers. Leon Rohrbaugh and others will provide special music, along with our choir.
Sunday, May 17
Our sermon this morning will be by Doug Bowen- Bailey, an active member of our Acting for Justice Hub and Property Team. Doug is also a member of the Duluth Civilian Review Board.

At 8:30 we will have a Taizé Service led by Mark Hakes, our Youth and Children’s Minister.
