Peace Puppets started in 2007. The program is designed for our 4th, 5th and 6th grade kids.

Although the most obvious part of Peace Puppets is fun, our puppets help kids experience and provide a unique ministry at Peace Church.

Kids are going to have fun and guaranteed lots of laughs giving life to their puppets with movement, voices and personalities. Take a look at the FAQs to see just some of the things we will be learning

Parents, Other Adults and Youth

Cindy McLean is at Peace Puppets every week and Holly Bowen-Bailey (alias Holly Hollywood) will be the majority of weeks. However, we are always looking for youth and adults who would like to be involved. Puppets love to sing and dance so if you can sing or play an instrument, we need you!If you have any questions, you can email Cindy at cindy@peaceucc.org.

What is Peace Puppets?

Peace Puppets was created in 2007 here at Peace! The purpose of Peace Puppets team is to engage 4th, 5th and 6th graders in a unique activity using performances in ministry. Kids will create puppets and backdrops, use bible stories and topics of particular concern to children, and perform shows when they are ready.

What kind of puppets will the kids be using?

Kids will be using all sorts of puppets including professional level.

How much does it cost to participate?

The cost of Peace Puppets is $20 to $25 year. Puppeteerships are available.

Where does Peace Puppets meet and at what time?

Peace Puppets meets every Wednsday evening at 6:00, right after our usual Wednesday nights dinners, in the Lake View classroom.

Who will be the leaders of the program?

Cindy McLean will be there every week and Holly Bowen-Bailey most weeks.
