Church School

Church School classes are available for children from age three through Senior High, and fill the hour between services from 9:30-10:30 am on Sunday mornings during our regular program year. Church School begins with fifteen minutes of music for Preschool-Fifth Graders. This opening is a time of prayer, singing, collecting offering, celebrating birthdays, welcoming visitors and hearing the main idea for the week’s lesson. The students will then be dismissed to their classes.

This year in Church School we are going on an adventure! We are going on a ‘quest’ to learn about the bible—the stories, the people, and the lessons. With the help of Bible Quest a new curriculum, each class will focus on key biblical stories, helping all learners to get an historical and chronological sense of the bible. Each week, all students learn the same story, using musical, artistic, linguistic, kinesthetic, individual and group approaches to reach multiple learning styles. The curriculum is for ages 3 through Junior High.

Sr. High Forum—you’re in the Youth Room. Using movies, quest speakers and “chat” days we’ll explore faith and issues that are important

Wednesday's 6:00-7:00pm

Faith Weavers is an hour of programming on Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:00 pm, which focuses on Bible stories through song, crafts, games, creative snack making, drama, journal time, and service. Children are welcome to attend when possible, it is not necessary that they are present every Wednesday. The cost of the program is $15 a child. This fee helps to cover the cost of supplies. Additional donations are welcome. Scholarships are available upon need.

Kid’s Choir is 5:00 – 5:30pm on Wednesday evenings. We learn new songs, dance, play musical games, use instruments, and learn musical notation. We usually sing in church the second Sunday of the month. Ages preschool through 5th grade. There is no cost to participate.More info
