The 8:30 a.m worship service is a communion service. There is quiet time for reflection.

Communion is taken each Sunday. Those attending and this service share communion by intinction where the cup and bread are passed in the gathered circle.

Children of all ages are welcome at the worship.

Special music is often a part of this early worship time.

The 10:30 worship service includes a Children's time where children are invited to gather at the front of the church for a special lession.

Communion is offered the first Sunday of each month..

The Sanctuary choir or The Praise and Worship band provide our worship music and once a month our Children's choir sings.

This service is interpreted into American Sign Language

The service is most often based on the Revised Common Lectionary. Ever wonder why a friend of yours who attends a different church may have heard a sermon based on the same Bible passage as the one you heard? Many churches of different denominations use the Lectionary where theoretically in three years messages from the entire Bible will be heard.

Upcoming Sundays:

Sunday, May 4th – Seventh Sunday of Easter
Scripture: Acts 1: 6 – 14 and John 17: 1 - 11

fountThe United Church of Christ celebrates two sacraments, baptism and communion. Baptism is celebrated both for infants and for older believers who have not previously been baptized. This sacrament is included in the Sunday worship service, after conferring with the pastor. Many persons bring water for the baptism from a place that is meaningful to them.

We practice "open" communion, inviting all Christians to the Lord's Table, regardless of denominational affiliation. Persons of all ages, including children, share in this sacrament. Grape juice is used so that all may participate.
